Senior Tax Accountant

We are looking for an experienced Senior Tax Accountant.

Client Details

Our Client is a SSC of a global production company.

Description

• Calculating income tax in accordance with the Corporate Income Tax Act.
• Verifying company accounting records to ensure they provide accurate financial information as per the Corporate Income Tax regulations.
• Assisting in the calculation of withholding tax.
• Preparing manual tax payments.
• Compiling and submitting necessary reports and other returns (e.g., CIT-10Z, IFT, CIT-8).
• Helping prepare the tax package for Group reporting purposes.
• Preparing and posting necessary journal entries.
• Reconciling general ledger and tax accounts.
• Assisting with audit coordination by providing or collecting requested documentation and additional explanations.
• Participating in special projects and activities as defined by the business and implemented by the Company.
• Collaborating closely with other team members and business partners.
• Serving as a backup for the line manager.

Profile

• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience relevant to Polish tax law (CIT).
• University degree in tax, accounting, or finance.
• Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of Polish tax law and accounting principles.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
• Proficient verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Familiarity with ERP accounting systems, such as SAP, is a plus.
• Advanced skills in MS Excel.
