Senior software engineer

Your responsibilities will include: Maintaining and expanding functionality of database structures (SQL) Developing Lab VIEW/C# applications alongside other team members Creating and revising software documentation Analyzing production requirements and proposing software related solutions Designing and executing application test plans Maintaining SVN/GIT repositories Following company standard good coding practices To be successful, you will need to have: Experience in industrial application development using Lab VIEW (CLD/CLA certification would be beneficial) Practical knowledge of standard device communication protocols like RS232, TCP/IP, GPi B Comprehension of commonly used software architectures Firm understanding of software development process Willingness to expand your coding skillset and to follow other developers guidance as well as to share knowledge with others Good communication skills Ability to use English at a communicative level High level of self-organization It would be considered an advantage if you have: Development skills using C/C#/Python Web interface development skills Experience in using Azure Dev Ops Understanding of optical switching engineering Why HUBER+SUHNER Polatis?
