About this opportunity
Welcome to the Securities Lending Settlement team. We add value by collaborating and making sure that we always provide best in class. As the Service Operations Officer in Securities Lending Settlement team, you’ll play a valuable role in in cooperation with custodians, stakeholders all around the world and middle & front office to provide the best service to our clients. Our main focus is securities lending settlement. Where we borow and lend shares.
What you’ll be doing:
- Daily settlement of securities (stock loans and collaterals)
- Investigating, amending and matching transactions that have not settled automatically
- Investigating and resolving discrepancies between Nordea and custodian’s accounting books both cash and securities (reconciliation of securities and corporate actions)
- Creating/changing standard settlement instructions
- Taking part in various projects
You’ll join a team where international collaboration is a standard. The role is based in Łódź.

Your experience and background:
- Finance related university degree or equivalent professional experience will be an asset
- Proficiency in MS Office
- Good command of English (both spoken and written)
