Accounting and Reporting Analyst / Accountant(Captive Operations Group)

What can you expect?

In the Captive Operations Group we are responsible for accounting, regulatory compliance and administrative functions for a portfolio of captive insurance companies and other clients.

  • Daily project work for international stakeholders (mainly EMEA and Middle East region)

  • Working with IFRS and local GAAP on a daily basis

We will count on you to:

  • Make the reconciliation of cash and investment accountsâ

  • Prepare bank deposits, cash disbursements and regulatory filings

  • Assist in the annual audit for clients

  • Track and reconciling claims activity

  • Maintain client contact as needed

  • Prepare memos and other correspondence

  • Update clientâs and office databases

  • Investigate outstanding issues on clientsâ accounts

What you need to have:

  • Educational background in Finance & Accounting, Economics or Business Administration (BA or MA degree)

  • Min. 1 years of professional experience in finance and accounting area

  • Very good command of English (B2 min.)

  • Proficiency in MS Office especially Excel (formulas and data analysis)

  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail

  • Open mindset towards change and engagement for continuous improvement

What makes you stand out:

  • Prior accounting experience gained in accounting office / insurance company or FSI audit
