Job Title: Accounting and Reporting Supervisor

This role is with Marsh McLennan, an inclusive employer and a member of myGwork – the largest global platform for the LGBTQ+ business community. We are seeking a talented and motivated candidate for the following position:

Job Summary:

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for accounting, regulatory compliance, and administrative functions for a portfolio of captive insurance companies and other clients. You will work closely with our international stakeholders, primarily in the EMEA and Middle East region, to deliver high-quality financial services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare financial statements under local GAAP in an accurate and timely manner for a portfolio of clients.
  • Reconcile and post insurance transactions.
  • Track and post claim activity.
  • Value investment portfolios.
  • Assist in annual audits for clients.
  • Assist in regulatory filings: local, Solvency II.
  • Maintain client files in accordance with the Marsh standard filing system.
  • Maintain client contact as needed.
  • Assist in preparing materials for board meetings.
Requirements:
  • Min. 3 years of professional experience related to finance/accounting/controllership gained in insurance/brokerage or auditing company.
  • MA or BA degree.
  • Fluency in English.
  • Ability to meet tight deadlines.
  • Multitasking.
  • Responsibility.
  • Excellent planning and organization skills.
  • Openness for new challenges.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization and with external clients.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including MS Excel (formulas and data analysis).
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving.
  • Initiative and persistence to pursue problems to resolution.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

  • ACCA/CIMA/CPA qualified or part qualified.
  • Excellent communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational skills in prioritizing work, multi-tasking, and consistently meeting deadlines.
