About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Accounting Manager to join our team in EMEA. As a key member of our accounting team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day accounting operations for our Studios business across EMEA territories.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the month-end close process, including the preparation, review, and approval of journal entries and financial reports in compliance with US GAAP.
  • Review and analyze financial results ensuring consistency and accuracy.
  • Supervise the preparation and review of trial balances, ensuring necessary adjustments and reconciliations for balance sheet accuracy.
  • Ensure strong internal controls are in place to manage financial risks and regulatory compliance.
  • Provide oversight and guidance to the outsourced accounting team based in India, improving efficiency and standardizing processes across the region.
  • Act as a key point of contact for internal and external auditors, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting and audits.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting required; Master's degree in Accounting is a plus.
  • CPA or Chartered Accountant (CA) strongly preferred.
  • Minimum 6 years of relevant accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
  • Experience in media/entertainment industry accounting is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of US GAAP and SOX compliance.
  • Experience managing remote teams and working with outsourced service providers.
  • Proven ability to work with accounting teams across different regions, understanding diverse regulatory environments, especially in EMEA.
