We are looking for a Legal Counsel (m/f/d) for our Passive Safety Division

 

Main accountabilities, responsibilities and deliverables:
•    Provides legal advice on a broad range of general corporate matters
•    Advise and support business clients on legal matters to ensure that the regional legal team is a strategic partner in regional business that identifies and effectively  communicates risks and provides excellent solutions-oriented legal advice
•    Advise on quality issues and related claims
•    Contract drafting, negotiation and advisory responsibilities ranging from standard contracts to one-off transactions
•    Support litigation activities for the region
•    Support compliance investigations, give training and implement initiatives in the region
•    Support mergers and acquisitions activities
 

Required skills and experience / main competencies:
•    Proven experience of min. 5 years as a Legal Counsel in business/ automotive environment
•    Excellent knowledge and understanding of commercial law and procedures
•    High degree of professional ethics and integrity
•    Sound judgement and ability to analyze situations and information
•    Business and solution-oriented mindset; strong communication skills
•    Bachelor's Degree  in Law or comparable degree
•    English Fluency required. German, Spanish, Mandarin language preferable
