QA Automation Engineer for Mobile Apps Testing to ABAX Poland

As a Mobile QA Automation Engineer in the Mobile team, you'll play a pivotal role in boosting our QA automation levels. Collaborate closely with the team, alongside other QAs and product teams, to craft and automate all tests.

Some of the things you will be working on:

• Collaborate with the QA team to implement automated testing and tooling solutions.
• Triage manual test cases for the most urgent automation candidates within team projects.
• Define and promote test automation best practices, standards and processes.
• Perform code reviews of test scripts.
• Define and perform load testing and ensure proper monitoring of performance.
• Take responsibility to ensure that the team collectively takes responsibility for fixing failed tests and issues with the CI/CD infrastructure.
• Ensure the release of high-quality software while actively reducing our cycle time.

We believe you bring:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a test automation engineer, proficient in any platform and language (C#, Ruby, Python, Java, or similar).
• Hands-on experience in conducting exploratory testing of distributed systems and SaaS products.
• Practical expertise in implementing the shift-left testing approach within software development.
• Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.

Nice-to-have:

• XCode/Android studio knowledge preferable.
• Good experience in gRPC and proficiency in utilizing network traffic capturing tools.
• Proficiency in data analytics tools like Looker Studio or Power BI.
• Exposure to cloud platforms such as Azure, GCP, or AWS.

2. We send out our technical test, focusing on how you approach the work.

3. In-depth interview with one or two of our stake holders, could be a team member for example â to get to know each other even better. At this stage, we deep dive into the technical test that you have done.

4. Second interview with the hiring manager and our recruitment specialist â focusing even more on who you are and also â what you know.
