Your New Role...

The Sr. Technical Analyst will assist the team as well as key stakeholders across various tasks related to multiple applications and business processes including understanding business processes and implementing software tools in support of those business processes.

Your Role Accountabilities...

Business Analysis 50%

  • Lead live remote and in person working sessions with operations teams to gather requirements, implement solutions, and train.

  • Responsible to understand business process and effectively apply them to appropriate application and technical solutions.

  • Responsible to design and implement solutions using application, interfaces, and reporting capabilities.

  • Provide expert level, second tier, technical support to the entire studio portfolio of applications and supporting technologies.

  • Responsible to manage and approve application upgrades, patches, and fixes.

  • Responsible to ensure change management processes successful for application and process changes.

  • Responsible to collaborate with small teams of project managers, technical resources, vendors, and business experts to successfully achieve technical solutions.

  • Assist project team, key stakeholders, and management to prioritize business requirements and develop and maintain detailed project plans using standard tools

  • Effectively assist in leading by influence and work in a matrix/cross functional (BU Champions)

  • Assist in establishing and coordinating the project plan for migration of the project into production

  • Assist with developing and defining new and improved workflow and initiatives · Help provide training and training materials for new processes

PROJECT MANAGEMENT 25%

  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to understand team needs and dependencies to better align business processes

  • Assist in developing and executing a methodology to evaluate, prioritize and monitor the success of the business processes

  • Accurately and clearly articulate strategic issues and provide relevant, logical options for solving them

  • Create comprehensive and meaningful strategy presentations for senior executives

  • Ability to build a framework and drive development through dynamic business intelligence tools and dashboards for use in ongoing business planning and goal measurement through KPIs

ANALYTICS 25%

  • Develop and run SQL queries for custom reporting and analysis.

  • Capture bug reports and submit to application vendor via vendor bug reporting portal.

  • Responsible for root cause analysis, testing, and applying valid fixes

  • Develop comprehensive performance analysis of business processes and review ways of improvement

  • Actively participate in stakeholder meetings with the goal of understanding all major projects and initiatives planned

Qualifications & Experiences...

  • 5+ years of prior working in an IT or associated role with experience supporting operations with operations systems experience.

  • Hands on experience with system implementation and customization.

  • Experience gathering requirements, writing functional designs, drawing process flows, use cases, and writing test cases.

  • SQL

  • Superior analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Expert user of Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) to prepare all documents, presentations, graphs, briefings, and worksheets

  • A passion for accuracy and translating insights into a compelling narrative; able to maintain a balance between the details and the larger picture

  • Excellent written and verbal communication

  • Work collaboratively with small/medium teams

  • Ability to handle multiple assignments concurrently

Not Required but preferred experience:

  • Xytech

  • Experience with supporting applications hosted in a SaaS model preferred.

  • Media and Entertainment (Studio) experience is desirable.

  • Experience working in a national or global company

  • Some visualization tool knowledge would be helpful (i.e. Tableau, Power BI)

  • Comfortable in working in highly iterative and somewhat unstructured environment
