Job Overview

TE Connectivity's Traffic Administration Teams are responsible for the coordination and consolidation of domestic and international systems to support shipments. They ensure lowest cost transportation is used by analyzing company and customer needs, researching transportation methods, and auditing carrier costs and performance. They also interpret laws, rules, and regulations regarding shipping and prepares applications for import/export control certifications and licenses.

Responsibilities:

• planning and execution of incoming and outgoing shipments subject to customs procedures,
• arranging export and import clearance using dedicated customs brokers,
• issuing and completing commercial and transport documentation necessary to ship merchandise in accordance with the requirements of the customer and administrative institutions,
• handling complaints received from stake holders and customer service regarding completed shipments,
• creating, supplementing and presenting reports and analyzes commissioned by management,
• independently conducting the documentation legalization process and shipping goods under the terms of the letter of credit,
• documenting and confirming the preferential origin of goods and issuing LTSD declarations at the customer's request in accordance with the company's procedures,
• IT platform support: ERP and other IT tools (SharePoint, MS Office, MS Teams),
• participation in Kaizen, TEOA and other improvement programs and activities,

What your background should look like:

• higher education in the field of logistics or transport or at least 4 years of experience in a similar position in a production company or experience gained in a transport company as an international forwarder (ROAD, AIR SEA)
• knowledge of MS Office programs. Knowledge of ERP system such as SAP and other IT tools (SharePoint, Google Docs) would be consider as advantage.
• knowledge of customs regulations and customs procedures
• knowledge of the rules for assigning non-preferential economical origin of goods or confirming the preferential origin of goods to the extent necessary to perform tasks
• knowledge of the law and company procedures related to the shipment of dangerous goods to the extent necessary to perform the tasks
• English at a level enabling everyday work
• responsibility, conscientiousness, reliability, flexibility and creativity at work
• ability to quickly and effectively solve problems and make efficient decisions under time pressure and in unusual situations based on experience and available tools
