In order to strengthen our Financial Hub in Warsaw we are looking for a:
Global Balance Sheet Team Lead(Warsaw office)This role will be responsible for improvements of the Balance Sheet reconciliations quality by creating a monitoring platform as well as to educate colleagues across the organization about the global requirements and best practices. This is a highly visible role within the organization and reports to the Monitoring, Reporting & Analytics Manager.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Global Balance Sheet Team Lead to join our Global Process Monitoring & Reporting Team. The Global Process Monitoring & Reporting team supports all countries, working with the Accounting Operations teams and forms part of the Controllership function that is responsible for ensuring accounting adherence to organization policies, procedures and SOX requirements.

We will count on you to:
- Coordinate the actions of the Global Balance Sheet Quality Review Team
- Participate in the creation of a quality monitoring model
- Perform monthly Balance Sheet quality reviews in accordance with global standards
- Communicate with Accounting Operation Teams regarding findings and areas for improvement in Balance Sheet reconciliations
- Prepare and update training materials
- Educate colleagues across the organization about global requirements
- Lead various reporting, dashboard, and change initiatives for global MMC Accounting Operations
- Assist with other ad-hoc tasks, projects, and initiatives as required
We would like you to have:
- Minimum 5 years experience in General Ledger area or similar
- University degree (finance / economics) or recognized accounting qualification
- High level of fluency in English
- Working knowledge of ERP Accounting systems
- Advanced Excel skills and PowerPoint (together with visual presentation skills)
- Process analysis or mapping skills, ability to formulate conclusions and recommendationsÂ
- Ability to work under pressure to tight deadlines and deliver results to short timescales.
What makes the ideal candidate â but not required:
- Prior experience of Oracle and HFM
- Part/Qualified ACCA/CIMA
- Experience with US GAAP
- Previous proven ability to identify and implement areas of improvement
- Previous exposure to leadership and coordination tasks
