With a surge in activities and numerous new projects on the horizon, we are on the lookout for a Resource Manager - Mechanical specializing in Gas Solutions.

Your main responsibilities will include:
  • Capacity Planning: Forecast resource needs for current and upcoming projects to ensure proper personnel allocation. Proactively handle potential resource constraints or surpluses.
  • Workload Balancing: Ensure fair workload distribution among team members to prevent burnout and uphold productivity levels. Optimize efficiency by monitoring and reallocating resources as necessary.
  • Project Prioritization: Collaborate with stakeholders to prioritize projects based on strategic goals, resource availability, and business impact. Make informed decisions to align resource allocation with organizational objectives.
  • Performance Monitoring: Track team members' performance and productivity. Monitor key performance indicators related to resource utilization, project delivery, and client satisfaction.
  • Resource Forecasting: Analyze historical data and project requirements to accurately forecast future resource needs. Develop plans to ensure adequate staffing levels for upcoming projects.
  • Compliance and Policy Adherence: Ensure compliance with relevant policies, procedures, and regulations related to resource management.
  • Process Improvement: Continuously evaluate and enhance resource management processes. Identify opportunities for automation and efficiency gains to boost productivity.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Keep project managers and senior leadership updated on resource allocation, capacity planning, and workforce trends. Act as a liaison between teams for alignment and coordination.
Accountabilities:
  • Resource Allocation: Assign personnel to projects based on skills, expertise, and availability while considering project requirements and deadlines.
  • Skills Management: Understand the skills and capabilities of each team member. Identify skill gaps and development opportunities for workforce proficiency.
  • Onboarding: Provide new employees with an orientation program and training to ease their transition into the company.
  • Career Development: Support team members' career growth and development through training and advancement opportunities.
  • Capacity Planning: Maintain team utilization within company-defined levels.
  • Knowledge Sharing: Encourage knowledge sharing and collaboration among team members.
  • Continuous Learning: Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in resource management.

The following criteria will help you excel in this role:

  • BSc or MSc in a relevant field, or equivalent experience
  • Understanding of system Engineering
  • Knowledge of Engineering impact on Lifecycle cost and effectiveness
  • Practical knowledge of project management and execution
  • Safety-focused mindset
  • Strong communication skills and a customer-centric approach
  • Collaborative team leader with initiative, drive, and creativity
  • Experience in multi-cultural team environments
  • Fluency in English
