Job Role Overview

This position will be part of TE FSC's Global Project Management Office. The main focus is to establish a culture of Continuous Improvement within the Financial Solution Center (FSC) in EMEA (Krakow). This role involves creating, implementing, and maintaining continuous improvement and lean manufacturing programs within the FSC. The role requires close collaboration with management at all levels within the Krakow FSC and coordinating initiatives globally with other regional FSCs in Suzhou and San Jose. Reporting directly to the Project Manager – EMEA, this role plays a significant role in supporting strategies and initiatives to help achieve the strategic goals of the Global FSC, with a particular emphasis on FSC EMEA.

Responsibilities:

  • Act as the main contact and catalyst for continuous improvement activities within the FSC
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives and drive cultural transformations within the FSC by utilizing TE Operating Advantage and CI tools
  • Collaborate with FSC leadership to develop comprehensive CI strategies aligned with organizational goals
  • Provide education and training on continuous improvement methodologies and tools
  • Identify improvement opportunities and work with functional teams to enhance service quality and operational efficiency
  • Cooperate with Automation Team to ensure project alignment with FSC goals
  • Assist in project selection, scoping, and prioritization based on resources and budget
  • Lead project teams and provide guidance during project execution
  • Perform impact analysis for process changes
  • Monitor and report progress of CI initiatives
  • Manage projects regionally and globally as assigned
  • Facilitate collaboration and knowledge-sharing between CI Managers globally
  • Effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders to drive change
  • Implement TEOA requirements and promote successes across the organization

Expectations for Background:

  • 5-7 years of relevant experience in project management or process improvement
  • 2+ years in managerial roles, preferably in CI or Project Management
  • Experience in CI projects related to Finance & Accounting processes and Kaizen events facilitation
  • Familiarity with various technologies such as SAP, Celonis, etc.
  • Knowledge of Lean principles, Six Sigma, and Change Management
  • Understanding of project management methodologies
  • Proven track record of process improvement implementation in SSC/BPO/administrative functions
  • Ability to work independently and analyze accounting processes
  • Proficiency in ERP systems
  • Capability to manage multiple priorities
  • Degree in Industrial Engineering, Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration
