Within our Corporate Controlling organization, we are looking for an experienced professional to join us as Authorization and Approvals Specialist. This newly created position will ensure that Authorization and Approvals in Hitachi Energy application landscape will comply with Company Regulations and Corporate/ Business Unit / Local Authorization Tables leveraging our Digital Core.

Key responsibilities:

  • You will be playing a central role in streamlining and optimizing critical business processes related to approvals and authorisation within Hitachi Energy.
  • Define, deploy and run an end-to-end update cycle for keeping up-to-date authorization tables at different levels of HE organization (CAT / BAT / LAT) interacting with the relevant stakeholders.
  • Creating and maintaining detailed process maps for approval and authorization processes.
  • Documenting standard operating procedures (SOPs) and guidelines.
  • Supporting testing of workflow related controls and be contact person for internal and external audits.
  • Leverage technology solutions to enhance approvals and authorizations processes and work closely with IT teams to integrate workflow automation tools and platforms.
  • Providing training and support to end-users on new tools.
  • Ensuring that CoE delivers hight quality and timely solution and recommendation align with strategic goals and prioritise of the organisation.
  • Monitoring and reporting of performance and outcomes of the CoE task project and invite and provide guidance for improvement and optimalization.

Qualification:

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, information systems, finance, project management or a related field.
  • Relevant certifications in process improvement (e.g., Lean Six Sigma) and governance tools (e.g., Service Now, SharePoint) will be a benefit.
  • Proven experience minimum of 5 years in process optimization, governance implementation (translating governance principles into practical actions within an organization) or related roles.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Experience in working in an agile and dynamic environment, and the ability to adapt to changing requirements and priorities.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills, and the ability to work effectively with diverse and senior stakeholders across the organization and external partners.
  • Knowledge of SAP S4 Hana and good knowledge of Microsoft Office (especially Excel) and another relevant software application.
  • Proficiency in English language.
