The Fund Accounting Analyst is a junior role that involves assisting in various fund valuation tasks in collaboration with the Operations - Transaction Services team. The key aim of this position is to support in calculating daily and periodic Net Asset Valuations (NAVs) for funds and distributing associated unit prices.

Responsibilities:

  • Monitor work activities to ensure timeliness/accuracy of fund operations, including NAV calculation and distribution factors
  • Review stock and cash reconciliations to ensure correct treatment of cleared items with no NAV impact
  • Ensure accurate reflection of corporate actions on NAV
  • Handle complex issues efficiently
  • Investigate and resolve client queries promptly and professionally
  • Meet Client Service Level Agreement (SLA) and deadlines
  • Collect and analyze relevant management information

Qualifications:

  • 1-3 years of relevant experience
  • Background in accounting, finance, or related field
  • Pursuing ACCA, ACA, or CIMA qualifications is advantageous
  • Knowledge of funds services and processes
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
