Join us for the opportunity to become a TAX Platform Deployment Specialist - SAP VAT and Excise taxation- Assistant Manager- English - Hybrid Krakow.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the deployment of the Global Business Platform.
  • Assist in conducting As Is analysis during the Solution Identification phase.
  • Collect required information for Change Impact analysis and facilitate impact analysis execution and resolution, guiding the successful closure of gaps between the current and desired situations.
  • Provide expert knowledge in the subject area and project methodology.
  • Develop and review level 5 Standard Operation Procedures (SOPs).
  • Support the development of User Acceptance Test (UAT) scenarios and test scripts.
  • Coordinate User Access Testing (UAT).
  • Identify training needs and deliver end-user trainings.
  • Contribute to Toll Gate decks (milestones) by providing inputs, logging risks and issues that arise during configuration, training, or other activities, and ensuring their resolution.
  • Analyze during the Ramp-up phase and suggest corrective actions.
  • Discover improvement opportunities and integrate best practices for future resolution.
  • Capture lessons learned and best practices from each implementation and incorporate them into future impact resolution/improvement roadmaps.
  • Ensure a smooth handover to Business as Usual (BAU) after the Stabilization phase.

Qualifications we seek in you:

  • Minimum Qualifications / Skills:
  • Functional skills including process-oriented thinking, planning, organizational skills, analytical, and conceptual thinking.
  • Stakeholder management skills for managing diverse stakeholder groups across Functions and Operating Companies with effective communication.
  • Training and Change management skills: conducting trainings, developing training materials, and supporting transitions to new ways of working.
  • Process improvement skills for problem-solving and contributing to process enhancements.

Preferred Qualifications/ Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related fields like Finance, Management Accounting, or Management Information Systems.
  • Relevant experience in Finance/Accounting within SSC/BPO environments.
  • Hands-on experience in VAT transactions, VAT returns preparation, understanding Excise taxes, with an accounting background.
  • Familiarity with SAP ERP.
