About Citi Warsaw CSC

The Citi Solutions Centre (CSC) in Citibank Europe Plc Warsaw Branch is a key support center providing leading edge services across the EMEA Region and for Citi globally. The Warsaw CSC footprint comprises [7,000] staff and is located across [5] sites, supporting all global functions and businesses.

Within the CSC, the Global Risk organization has a team of approximately 300 colleagues, representing all Risk stripes and supporting the Risk organization both regionally and globally. Given the significant expansion of the Risk team and plans for future growth, we are looking to appoint a Business Unit Manager to support the site.

The Business Unit Manager, will help to facilitate people development, manage talent pool, ensure collaboration and synergies across risk teams, build and market the risk organization's brand locally in Warsaw, EMEA and sometimes Globally and communicate enterprise-wide priorities.

Responsibilities:

  • Produces analytics and reporting used to manage risk for Citi's operations.
  • Conducts analysis and packages it into detailed technical documentation report for validation purposes sufficient to meet regulatory guidelines and exceed industry standards.
  • Business oversight responsibility, which may include oversight of people, budget and planning, to include duties such as performance evaluation, headcount analytics and reporting, hiring, and may include budget approval.
  • Initiation and on going focus on People Development and Culture, to include learning & development, voice of the employee, employee well-being, site social activities and new joiner integration.
  • The development of an effective human capital management strategy, including Talent Acquisition in support of the Risk organization, space planning and budgets.
  • Assisting the Site Risk Lead and SLT with recruitment and retention strategies for the Warsaw risk team holistically.
  • Working closely with other disciplines in the Risk organization via the Risk Senior Leader Team (SLT) including acting as coordinator for the SLT meetings.
  • Manage, supervise and coordinate day-to-day operational activities in the unit.

Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of total work experience
  • Good familiarity with Citi Risk stripes, including key contacts and practices.
  • Good people management, influencing and motivational skills.
  • Proven ability in communicating with key stakeholders.
  • Fluent English language speaking and writing ability.
  • Ability work collaboratively across the functions and businesses.
  • Demonstrated project management and organizational skills and capability to handle multiple projects at one time.
  • Bachelor's/University degree or equivalent experience.
