In the Warsaw headquarter there is also one of 7 Finance Business Shared Services Center. Established in January 2018, it is one of L'Oréal's most rapidly growing units. BEST carries out accounting processes for 14 markets from Central and Eastern Europe, and the Middle East. BEST consists of the following departments: Process to Payment, Cash Accounting, General Ledger, Treasury, Delivery Excellence, and Controlling, responsible for OPEX costs. What distinguishes BEST is, among other things, the constant striving for process improvement and standardization. As an R2R Accountant, your responsibilities will be:

  • Review and post journal entries regarding trade receivables provision, HR provisions, or stock provision .
  • Prepare reports for audit purposes, and l iaise with auditors in case of any questions.
  • Follow Standard Operating ProceduresregardingGeneral Ledger and Reporting.
  • Perform Balance Sheet reconciliation, especially provisions accounts.
  • Leading the Balance Sheet meetings with CFOs.
  • Prepare P&L reports for CFO and Division Controllers, and report P&L data to Compass.
  • Inventories and Margin oninventoriesReporting.
  • CAPEX Reporting.
  • Reporting of Credit Indicators TAP alignment.

You are a perfect match if you have:

  • Fluent English; knowledge of other language(s) will be an asset.
  • University degree or in the course of study with a major in Economics, Finance, and Accounting.
  • Knowledge of accounting rules,standards,and regulations.
  • Knowledge of SAP, Compass, and Magnitude systems will be an advantage.
  • Attention to detail and thoroughness.
  • Knowledge and understanding of General Ledger processes.
  • Strong customer-driven focus.
  • Good analytical skills.
