What You'll Be Doing:

As a Senior Financial Accountant specializing in R2R, your mission revolves around ensuring the accuracy, reliability, and integrity of all financial records, books, and reports (both local and USGAAP).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead accounting activities, including general ledger account preparation, maintenance, and reconciliation.
  • Provide guidance and support to team members.
  • Offer operational support for the region.
  • Assist the manager with key responsibilities.
  • Prepare, record, and report accounting transactions.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting policies and principles.
  • Oversee the Accounting and Reporting process.
  • Review balance sheet reconciliations in line with corporate standards.
  • Supervise reports and journal entries prepared by Financial Accountants.
  • Maintain robust Internal Controls (SOX).
  • Manage external and internal audit queries.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders and Local Finance Teams for accurate and timely information.
  • Support local taxation compliance.
  • Lead and document accounting projects.
  • Identify and implement process enhancements.
  • Facilitate escalations.
  • Drive standardization initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • Must be fluent in English.
  • Knowledge of French is a plus.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or equivalent certification.
  • Minimum of 4 years' experience in an accounting role (, GL, A2R).
  • Proficient in Excel.
  • Experience with ERP systems.
  • Understanding of USGAAP is beneficial.
  • Familiarity with Sarbanes Oxley Act and internal control concepts.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Shared Service experience preferred.
  • Energetic, flexible, collaborative, and proactive mindset.
  • Strong team player.
  • Skilled in effective cross-level communication.
  • Demonstrates leadership capabilities.
