About your future role:
You will join a dynamically developing Data Strategy, Engineering and Innovation team, a part of global Digital, Technology and Data Hub. As a Data Analyst you will be a key team member responsible for gathering business requirements, verifying data availability and preparing data mappings, as well as supporting project teams in testing of analytical solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Gathering business and functional requirements
- Building and documenting relevant data models and design analytical solutions.
- Conducting analysis and establishing metrics for success.
- Preparation of data mappings and analysis of data availability in various systems (both cloud- and on-premise based).
- Preparation of project documentation.
- Work with business partners and engineering teams on addressing data quality problems in available data sets and addressing process issues causing data quality issues.
Key Requirements/Minimum Qualifications:
- 5 + years of experience in business and data analysis.
- Strong knowledge of SQL and relational databases concepts (at least 3 years of professional experience).
- Expertise in gathering business and functional requirements, conducting analysis and establishing metrics for success.
- Ability to articulate business requirements and bridge the gap between development teams and stakeholders.
- Experience in preparation of documentation (technical and end user).
- Ability to present business and technical issues, ideas, and recommendations in verbal, written, and presentation formats using storytelling and logical arguments.
- Experience with data lakes, preferably based on AWS services.
- Hands - on experience with Jira and Confluence.
- Experience working in an Agile team.
- Fluent English - we are a global team, so a very good command of English is a must.
Nice to have:
- Knowledge of PySpark (able to read the code but no need to write the code)
- Knowledge of ETL (Alteryx, KNIME, AWS Glue) and data visualization (Tableau, Tableau CRM, Amazon QuickSight) tools highly desirable.
- Scrum Master role experience - work as a scrum master or willingness to educate in this area
