We seek a Head of Legal for an international digital marketing company to provide day-to-day legal support in the markets where the company operates.Requirements
  • More than three years of experience managing a legal department (with at least three people).
  • Expertise in intellectual property law, focusing on copyright, entertainment and influencer marketing law, media, new technologies, and IT.
  • Experience in advertising and global consumer laws and regulations.
  • Knowledge of and interest in the marketing/technology/SaaS/AI industry.
  • Understanding of technology industry concepts and technology law.
  • Experience with privacy and product compliance, including knowledge of global privacy regulations and Data Security/GDPR.
  • Experience in in-house legal consulting for the board of directors.
  • Ability to lead or serve as a strategic member of key legal-oriented projects with high visibility to senior management across the Group.
  • Proven experience representing the legal department in strategic initiatives involving negotiations.
  • Knowledge of and interest in labour law related to international regulations - regulatory issues and billing and calculations.
  • Experience entering into agreements and partnerships with clients and suppliers.
  • Ability to collaborate with other departments to achieve company objectives.
  • Excellent cross-cultural competencies.
  • Analytical mindset.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills, emotional intelligence and a demonstrated ability to motivate, build trust, and gain support.
  • High customer and success orientation, flexibility, and ability to work independently and in teams, as well as work under time pressure.
  • Strong entrepreneurial spirit and willingness to act with a problem-solving mindset.
  • Business-oriented with good communication and management skills.
  • Keeping abreast of trends in social media and digital technologies, using insights to improve the company's service delivery.
  • Collaborating with the finance department on corporate service activities for companies operating in various markets.
  • Fluency in Polish and English.
