We are therefore looking for a candidate for a new HR leadership role as

Head of Total Rewards

A leader, who will have a decisive influence on shaping and implementing our Total Compensation, Payroll, HR administration and HR Controlling strategy, and will be leading teams who provide services for more than 1500 employees of Ringier Axel Springer in Poland.

POSITION DESCRIPTION AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Total Rewards Strategy: Develop and execute a comprehensive total rewards strategy aligned with organizational goals, ensuring competitiveness in the talent market.
  • Market Research: Conduct regular market research, position mapping and compensation benchmarking to stay informed about industry trends and ensure the RASP's total rewards remain competitive.
  • HR Controlling: Oversee HR Controlling function responsible for HR budgeting and forecasting, as well as monitoring and analyzing HR data to provide insights.
  • HR and People Analytics: Utilize HR analytics to provide insights into HR trends, helping to inform decision-making related to compensation, benefits, and overall HR strategy.
  • Benefits Administration: Manage the design and administration of employee benefit programs, including health, wellness, insurance, and other fringe benefits.
  • Compensation and Payroll Management: Oversee effective compensation structures and manage internal payroll processes to ensure accuracy, compliance, and timely payments, supervising the Payroll team.
  • HR Administration: Provide oversight to HR Administration functions, ensuring efficient and accurate preparation of HR documents and complying with relevant legislation and regulations.
  • Team Leadership: Provide leadership to a team of 15 professionals across Payroll, HR Administration, Benefits and HR Controlling.
  • Communication: Communicate the company's Total Rewards details to employees, educating them about total rewards programs, fostering a clear understanding of changes and offering.
CANDIDATE PROFILE

EXPERIENCE:

  • Minimum 10 years of progressive experience in HR, with at least 5 years specifically focused on total rewards, compensation and benefits.
  • Proven experience in a leadership role, preferably as a Head of Total Rewards or in a similar capacity.
  • Strong background in managing a team .
  • Expert understanding of legal and regulatory requirements related to compensation, benefits, and HR policies.

    SKILLS & COMPETENCIES:
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with the ability to leverage data and metrics for informed decision-making.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex total rewards concepts to diverse audiences.
  • Proficiency in HRIS (Human Resources Information System) and other relevant software for data analysis and management.
  • Ability to think innovatively and implement creative solutions to address organizational challenges related to total rewards.
  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively with HR colleagues, senior leadership, and cross-functional teams, influencing decisions that impact total rewards.
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to inspire, motivate, and lead a team to achieve strategic objectives.

  • Integrity and ethical conduct, particularly when dealing with sensitive compensation and benefits information.
  • Ability to adapt to a dynamic and evolving organizational environment.
  • Team player mentality.
