Job Description

We are looking for an Internal Control Professional experienced in Polish and European legal regulations.

Responsibilities include:

  • You will design, analyze, and contribute to enhancing and developing systemic solutions for the Internal Control system within our organization
  • You will create an Internal Control plan
  • You will assess compliance with various legal regulations (especially those related to the activities of agents of the Domestic Payment Institution (pl: Krajowa Instytucja Płatnicza - KIP)) and ensure adherence to the organization's internal processes in line with established policies and principles
  • You will evaluate the effectiveness of the organization's risk mitigation measures
  • You will collaborate closely with the Internal Audit team at various levels, including communicating identified issues, reporting on open recommendations, and coordinating efforts

Is this the ideal role for you?

  • You hold a degree in finance, economics, or law, supplemented by relevant postgraduate studies or a completed course in internal auditing/control, or have minimum 5 years' experience in Internal Control, Risk Management, or Internal Audit (or similar)
  • You have a track record of managing project teams and leading complex initiatives
  • You possess strong analytical skills, the ability to apply regulations, and collaborate effectively across organizational levels
  • You excel in work organization
  • You are well-versed in inspection principles, standards, and methodologies
  • You have excellent presentation, problem-solving, and critical thinking abilities
  • You have experience in process design and optimization, alongside proficient time management skills
  • Possessing certifications like CICS-Specialist, CICP-Professional, CIA, or CISA is a plus
