Summary

Andersen, an international IT company, is looking for an experienced Characters Concept Artist to contribute to a large-scale project for Cyprus customers in the gaming industry.

Our client, a top player in online Games development and publishing, has a strong global presence with multiple offices worldwide.

The primary role involves creating visually striking character designs that align with the project's artistic vision.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the art director and design team to develop character concepts matching the game's style, narrative, and gameplay needs.
  • Produce initial sketches to establish the look and personality of each character.
  • Create detailed concept art for various in-game characters.
  • Ensure character designs are unique and consistent with the project's artistic direction.
  • Work closely with 3D artists to ensure seamless transition from concept art to in-game models.
  • Offer guidance and assistance throughout the character development process.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience as a Characters Concept Artist.
  • Proficient in traditional and digital art techniques, with a strong grasp of anatomy and character design principles.
  • Skilled in software like Adobe Photoshop and creative 3D tools.
  • Able to create diverse character concepts that fit the game's setting and themes.
  • Excellent communication skills for conveying visual ideas to team members effectively.
  • Open to feedback and collaboration with other departments.
  • Familiarity with video game development processes and popular character trends.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing creativity and technical skills.
  • Intermediate level of English.
