Our goal is to support companies in overcoming today's challenges. To enhance our Financial Hub in Warsaw, we are seeking a GL Accounting Expert. What to Expect: As a GL Accounting Expert, you will have a vital role in overseeing the intricate accounting needs of the R2R Accounting Operations. Besides your core duties, you will have the chance to take on an expert role, guiding and mentoring accounting staff on necessary processes. Your expertise will be crucial in ensuring precision and efficiency in financial operations. Additionally, you will review financial data and offer insightful analysis to company executives. Your skill in communicating financial strategies effectively will aid in informed decision-making and the overall success of the organization. Benefits:

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage daily accounting operations of R2R processes.
  • Review and analyze account reconciliations, journal entries, and provide balance sheet analyses.
  • Ensure accuracy, timeliness, and integrity of the R2R function and related reports.
  • Prepare detailed monthly, quarterly, and annual management reports.
  • Participate in projects impacting Accounting Operations and processes.
  • Enhance internal control environment and adhere to SOX controls and external audit procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with internal and external control requirements.
  • Apply accounting principles, practices, and regulatory guidelines consistently.
  • Respond effectively to ad hoc requests for financial information and provide operational analysis in line with global business standards.
Requirements:
  • 4-5 years' experience in a shared services or financial management environment, with a focus on general ledger.
  • Proficiency in ERP Accounting systems e.g. Oracle Financials.
  • University degree in finance, accounting, economics, or recognized Accounting qualification e.g. ACCA.
  • Proficient in English.
