GL& Asset Accounting Specialist

Job Description - Purpose:
This role involves gaining an in-depth understanding of essential GL and Fixed Asset processes, including processing transactions, executing month-end closing activities, preparing reconciliations, and generating reports. Additionally, active participation in local and global projects under the guidance of the Team Lead is expected.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process GL and Fixed Assets transactions.
  • Conduct month-end closing activities and provide support to markets, maintaining a comprehensive understanding of core GL and Fixed Asset processes.
  • Engage in ongoing SAP and process training to enhance knowledge and support new joiners.
  • Ensure timely closure of fixed asset and GL periods in compliance with IFRS and JSOX requirements.

Requirements:

  • University degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • 1-2 years of multinational company experience, ideally in GL or Fixed Assets.
  • Proficient in English (oral and written).
  • Comprehensive understanding of core GL and Fixed Asset processes.
  • Experience with SAP, preferably SAP 4 HANA.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Strong analytical skills.
