Our client, an international investment banking firm, is looking for an investment banking associate and Vice President candidate to join their team in Warsaw, Poland.

The ideal candidate will be a native Polish speaker with previous experience in investment banking, mergers and acquisitions (M&A), or corporate finance. You will have the opportunity to work on complex transactions, collaborate with industry experts, and contribute to the success of our clients and firm.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct financial analysis, including financial modeling, valuation, and due diligence, to support transaction execution and decision-making.
  • Assist in the preparation of client presentations, pitch materials, and transaction-related documentation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including senior bankers, analysts, and legal advisors, to facilitate deal execution and deliver exceptional client service.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify opportunities, trends, and risks within the Polish and regional markets.
  • Support business development efforts, including client meetings, presentations, and proposal preparation.
  • Demonstrate a strong understanding of industry dynamics, regulatory requirements, and competitive landscape in the Polish market.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or related field; advanced degree or professional certification is a plus.
  • Native Polish speaker with fluency in English; proficiency in other languages is advantageous.
  • 2+ years of experience in investment banking, M&A, corporate finance, or related field.
  • Strong financial modeling skills and proficiency in Excel and financial modeling software.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
  • Proven track record of executing transactions and delivering high-quality work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
