Global Trade Compliance Specialist Miejsce pracy: Warszawa Your responsibilities Conduct thorough research and analysis of products, technologies and software to determine their export control classification and tariff classification
Perform sanctioned-party lists screening of vendors, customers and other business partners
Interpret and classify products within appropriate export control category and tariff code according to the regulations of EU, US and other countries
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather necessary technical information and documentation for accurate classification
Collaboration with a global team and Export Control functions in entities in multiple countries
Maintain up-to-date knowledge on export control regulations to ensure compliance with any new requirements of the law
Maintain classification records in SAP system to track and document classification decisions
Provide guidance and training to internal stakeholders on export control / tariff classification requirements and respective best practices
Support in communication with authorities for export licensing
Our requirements Master or Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as international trade, business or engineering

Advanced proficiency in English, specifically reading comprehension skill and the ability to understand international regulations, technical description of products, technologies and software.


  • 3 years of experience in international trade compliance or product engineering field
Knowledge on export control regulations and / or tariff classification
Reading and understanding of technical drawings will be a great asset
Excellent analytical and research skills, with the ability to interpret complex technical information
Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in classification decisions
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Familiarity with other international trade compliance areas, such as sanctions and customs regulations is a plus
Experience with ERP systems like SAP, GTS will be an advantage

About this project As a new team for Global Trade Compliance will be established, we are currently recruiting for open positions within our new team.

The main focus of the team will stay in the area of Export Compliance.

All roles will be global and will be responsible for supporting the whole Group with trade compliance topics to ensure compliant business and to support sales and logistics teams globally.
