Full-time position
As a Product Designer at ULAM LABS, you will join our talented Design Team, where you'll thrive by testing your ideas and collaborating with stakeholders on the key aspects of platforms that we develop.
Who are we?We are ULAM LABS - a Wroclaw-based custom software development company specializing in creating complex products for companies, focusing on financial technologies.
Your daily missions- Researching new product ideas together with the Design Team;
- Taking full responsibility for product design. From idea to final design;
- Assisting in product decisions;
- Working closely with Clients, Project Managers, and Developers to establish and refine product requirements;
- Gathering requirements from potential users;
- Conducting interviews with first-time users;
- Preparing and presenting initial drafts to internal teams and key stakeholders using storyboards, process flows, and wireframes;
- Creating aesthetic UI and visual designs;
- Keeping up-to-date project's UI documentation and history of its iterations;
- UX Research;
- Identifying and troubleshooting UX issues.
- 2+ years of experience working as a UI/UX/Product Designer (Senior 4+);
- Experience using graphic design tools such as Figma;
- Experience working in a SCRUM/Agile methodology;
- Good understanding of mobile and desktop UX standards and conventions;
- Excellent written and spoken English and Polish (min. C1);
- Portfolio of design projects that you can share during the recruitment process;
- Willingness to work in a hybrid model from our Wroclaw office.
- High interest in new technologies;
- Big plus if you are interested in finance or crypto technologies.

What will your onboarding be like?
First day and week
We are excited to spend your first day and week with you in our office. You will get to know your dedicated Buddy and the whole Design team, meet your Leader - Piotr Radziwon, and receive a welcome pack with all equipment you need for work. You will also complete the formalities of the contract, and have training on tools and health&safety. We will also tell you more about the company and our corporate culture. Time for a break and having coffee/tea and lunch on the house with your team. After the first week, you will already know your team and supervisor, be introduced to the projects, and learn your first duties in the new position. You will become familiar with the intranet and documentation of the projects you will be working on. You will finish the week with a feedback meeting hosted by the People & Culture team.
One month
You will know all your responsibilities, and actively participate in team meetings. You will have cyclical 1:1 meetings with the Leader and get deeper into the projects. Team integration is also waiting for you. After a month of onboarding, we expect you to independently execute project tasks without requiring assistance or supervision. You will end the week with a feedback meeting, hosted by the People & Culture team.
Three months
After three months of successful cooperation, you will talk to your Leader about how you are working with us. We look forward to your feedback. After the whole onboarding, you will already be fully implemented in the projects and your responsibilities, and you will master all the names of our employees :)
