About the role:

The GRC Advisor is responsible for working in the capacity of a Subject Matter Expert in the governance, risk, and compliance programs of our customers. The role inter-works closely with a number of teams including business, architecture, infrastructure, legal and regulatory, data protection, application development, operations, service management and others to identify risks to the business. The role is typically customer facing and is required to conduct interviews, collect data, analyse necessary documentation in order to perform an appropriate assessment. Post assessment, the advisor is expected to recommend solutions to address those risks and to ensure business satisfies the necessary industry specific compliance requirements.

  • Understand, identify, and assess risks during the project implementation and post implementation including overall impact to project and operational risk profile throughout the lifecycle.
  • Ensure project change is managed in accordance with governance methodologies and frameworks.
  • Develop and prepare risk reporting and monitoring effectiveness of actions taken to manage identified risks and intervene as appropriate.
  • Support risk management activities ensuring alignment to the third lines of defence model and Operational Risk Management frameworks.
  • Provide independent oversight and challenge the effectiveness of risks and controls during pre and post implementation of projects.
  • Advise the projects and programs on how to identify, monitor, measure and manage existing and emerging risks.
Our Requirements:
  • Candidate will have minimum of 5 years of experience in Risk, Compliance, Assurance and Regulatory areas.
  • Preferred candidate with professional consulting experience in risk management.
  • Good understanding of Technology Risk and Compliance frameworks is preferred.
  • Good communication and presentation skills with a proven track record in stakeholder engagement and influencing skills.
  • Ability to plan and prioritise to manage multiple work streams/tasks simultaneously.
  • Certifications like CISA, CRISC, and PRINCE2/Agile are nice to have.
