Job Description

The product owner manages the backlog for their assigned value stream(s), contributes to the product roadmap, understands customer and market needs, and partners with the product manager. They rely on technical knowledge to define user stories, engage with Engineering teams, and groom the backlog. The ability to understand technical architecture, define engineering features, and translate customer requirements is crucial. Additionally, describing the impact of technical requirements to various audiences is essential.

This position fills the agile product owner role for specific products, advocating for users, customers, and stakeholders throughout the development process. Success requires managing multiple projects simultaneously from idea to completion.

Responsibilities

  • Develop relationships with UI/UX teams
  • Refine initiatives and epics
  • Build and maintain the team backlog
  • Prioritize the backlog
  • Contribute to the roadmap
  • Participate in release planning
  • Detail user stories
  • Maintain flow of features
  • Agree on story completion
  • Understand research spikes
  • Collaborate in team demo
  • Lead agile ceremonies

Basic Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 4+ years experience in relevant fields
