Position Overview:

As the Travel and Expenses Lead Specialist, you will be responsible for handling vendor invoices, maintaining accounts payable ledger accounts, analyzing financial statements, developing accounts payable policies, and ensuring compliance with internal and external controls. Additionally, you may be involved in processing employee expense reimbursements.

Responsibilities:

Program Administration

  • Ensure timely processing of card applications and transactions to mitigate risks.
  • Monitor adherence to local policies and regulations by cardholders.
  • Collaborate with internal teams for payment alignment and compliance.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for card-related issues.

Expense Auditing

  • Review and approve Concur expenses in alignment with company policies.
  • Handle customer inquiries regarding expenses.
  • Ensure accurate posting of expenses and accounts.

Internal Controls and Compliance

  • Document core processes and identify risk points.
  • Maintain accurate financial records for review.
  • Monitor internal controls effectiveness and compliance.
  • Report and address compliance issues and risks promptly.

Technical ERP Monitoring

  • Provide timely analytical support to avoid backlogs.
  • Coordinate with technical teams for efficient issue resolutions.

Requirements:

Education:

  • Degree in Business, Administration, or Accounting preferred.
  • Proficiency in English and Turkish.

Experience:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in Accounting, Travel and Expenses, or Accounts Payable.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in Corporate Card and Employee expense auditing.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems, experience with Concur system preferred.
