Ryvu Therapeutics is a clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company developing novel small molecule in precision oncology. Located in Cracow, Poland we are hiring people from different locations and backgrounds to gather world-class scientists and professionals helping achieving our mission – improve the life of people with cancer and their families.

Two of the drugs we developed internally have already demonstrated clinical benefit for patients suffering from leukaemia.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Experiment Design and Management:


• Design, conduct, and manage in vitro and in vivo experiments to evaluate ADME and PK profiles, as well as PK/PD experiments.

2. DMPK Study Coordination:


• Coordinate assay development and DMPK studies, both in-house and at Contract Research Organizations (CROs).

3. Bioanalytical Methods:


• Develop bioanalytical methods for quantitative LC-MS/MS assays, analyze biological samples and perform non-compartmental PK analysis (NCA).

4. Subject Matter Expertise:


• Provide expertise on absorption, distribution, metabolism, and excretion (ADME) and Contribute to pharmacokinetic-pharmacodynamic (PK-PD) modeling in support of Discovery projects.

5. Project Representation:


• Represent DMPK on projects, ensuring effective integration of DMPK science into the company's strategy.


• Responsible for quality and data review of all DMPK data within projects.


• Collaborate closely with Chemistry, Pharmacology, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Toxicology, and Clinical teams to support structure-activity relationship (SAR) activities and drive the selection/nomination of clinical candidates.

6. Preclinical Strategy Development:


• Conceive and implement the preclinical strategy for predicting human efficacious and safe starting dose levels for first-in-human clinical trials.

7. Mentoring and Support:


• Support and mentor junior staff on project teams, both within and outside the DMPK department.

8. Additional Duties:


• Perform other duties as assigned.

YOUR BACKGROUND


• PhD in scientific related discipline


• Proven track record of experience in DMPK from early discovery through to preclinical development


• A strong understanding of PK/PD and the application of models


• Ability to conduct PK analysis with the use of Phoenix Winonlin


• Experience with a number of bioanalytical techniques


• Knowledge of and previous practice performing Human pharmacokinetics and dose predictions would be an advantage
