IT&D Senior Data Visualisation Specialist

City: Warszawa

As an IT&D Senior Data Visualization Specialist, you will play a key role in uncovering valuable insights from extensive data sets, both structured and unstructured, to support informed decision-making and enhance our products for consumers and clients worldwide.

You will:

  • Develop innovative Power BI solutions across various business functions such as Corporate Finance, Sales, Category Development, Marketing, Supply Chain, Research & Development, and Human Resources
  • Collaborate with Business Intelligence Analysts and UX/UI Designers to gather business requirements, determine optimal solutions, create designs, and deliver impactful dashboards and reports
  • Leverage advanced techniques and third-party tools to enhance large-scale solutions handling substantial data volumes
  • Stay updated on the latest Power BI features, including preview releases, and evaluate their applicability within the Reckitt environment
  • Contribute to establishing and enforcing best practices at Reckitt, working closely with the Global Business Intelligence team and Center of Excellence
  • Mentor and educate business users and junior team members on Power BI and Business Intelligence utilization
  • Collaborate with data scientists to create compelling visualizations that reveal valuable business insights

  • Proven experience in developing BI solutions using Power BI (preferred experience with SSIS, SSAS, SSRS)
  • Strong programming skills in SQL and DAX
  • Exceptional data visualization capabilities and a talent for crafting narratives from data
  • Experience handling large datasets with diverse data manipulation and visualization tools, and optimizing solutions accordingly
  • Thorough understanding of Business Intelligence implementation methodologies and extensive hands-on experience with Microsoft's Business Intelligence Technology Stack, including MSSQL, Azure Analysis Services, and other Azure services
  • Solid background in multidimensional modeling employing various techniques
  • Hands-on experience in developing, testing, and deploying Power BI applications for business users
  • Desirable familiarity with Big Data architectures and knowledge of Hadoop, Spark, and Hive
