Manager, R&D Procurement

As an R&D Procurement Manager in Clinical Services, you will be accountable for a category of outsourced services needed for GSK's clinical trials:

• Negotiate contracts with suppliers that secure favourable terms for procurement of goods and services contracts in line with the agreed business requirements
• Ensure that business requirements are clearly defined and supplier performance management is in place to deliver value to GSK
• Lead strategic review with in-depth category knowledge

In this role, you will have the opportunity to lead key activities to progress YOUR career These responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Accountability for end-to-end management of the Data Licensing category
• Lead sourcing events and data-driven negotiations to deliver on the business requirements
• Identify contracting and overall process simplification opportunities across Clinical Services Procurement
• Demonstrate understanding of and commitment to the GSK culture and R&D priorities

Basic Qualifications & Skills:

We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals:

• Bachelor's Degree
• 3+ years of experience in Global Procurement or equivalent function
• Experience developing project plans, executing contracts, and leading negotiations
• Pharmaceutical, healthcare, or consumer goods industry experience

Preferred Qualifications & Skills:

• Advanced Degree in Business Management, Business Operations, Mathematics or Science
• Strong business and financial acumen
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Proficient in leveraging AI to simplify daily ways of working and drive process efficiency
• Ability to analyse and present data in a clear and concise manner
• Ability to balance priorities and work independently
