Procurement Manager (with Spanish + English) - R&D Global Delivery Center

This role presents YOU with the chance to lead key activities that will propel YOUR career. Responsibilities involve:

Strategy Execution

  • Implement sourcing strategies for spend categories, collaborating with business stakeholders and Procurement Global R&D Category Teams
  • Negotiate contracts with suppliers to secure favorable terms for goods and services procurement in line with business requirements
  • Realize benefits outlined in strategies at local, regional, and global levels through effective strategy execution aligned with supply assurance, quality, service, cost, and innovation
  • Adhere to GSK's Procurement policies, procedures, systems, and methodologies in a compliant manner
  • Achieve savings and other critical KPIs as per global procurement plans in alignment with stakeholders and Finance

Business Partnering & Stakeholder Management

  • Cultivate strategic relationships with GSK leadership to deliver business benefits in line with supply assurance, quality, service, cost, and innovation requirements
  • Resolve escalations, including those from senior business stakeholders, promptly and tactfully
  • Manage complex prioritizations considering multiple variables such as stakeholder sensitivity, business value, spend, savings, compliance, and risks

This role demands cultural awareness to operate seamlessly across a multicultural business environment, along with experience in managing complex projects, operational challenges, organizational complexities, escalations, and associated business consequences.

If you possess these skills, we want to hear from you:

  • Minimum 5 years of operational Procurement experience across various spend categories, particularly in implementing strategies, stakeholder management, and supplier relationships
  • Experience in handling global/regional projects
  • Expertise in strategic sourcing, commercial and contract negotiations for global categories
  • Proficiency in tools like Ariba or equivalent sourcing technology
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and Spanish
