2-Stroke Operational Technical Support

We are excited to offer a position in our team at Wärtsilä Marine, where we are dedicated to shaping a cleaner and more connected maritime future. We are expanding our operations to Poland and are seeking professionals with strong expertise in 2-stroke engines to join our team. As part of the 2-stroke Global Operations Expertise Center, you will play a key role in providing technical support to our customers and contributing to sustainable societies through innovative technology.

The 2-Stroke Operational Technical Support role is open for applicants with various levels of experience, ranging from Operational Support Engineer to Senior Operational Expert. Your responsibilities will include providing technical support for 2-stroke engines, ensuring customer satisfaction, participating in product development, and closely collaborating with stakeholders.

Your responsibilities for the role include, but are not limited to:

  • Providing high-level technical support for 2-stroke engines
  • Ensuring customer satisfaction and on-time support
  • Conducting Root Cause Analysis and troubleshooting
  • Participating in product development activities
  • Collaborating with the Operations Experts team

The following will help you succeed in this role:

  • M. Sc. or B. Sc. in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
  • Experience with 2-stroke engines and technical report writing
  • Strong analytical skills and customer-oriented mindset
  • Excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills
  • Proficiency in English and Microsoft Office

You will be at an advantage with:

  • Experience in Field Service and with Wärtsilä products
  • Customer service experience
