About the project

We are seeking skilled and motivated individuals to join our newly established team in Poland and be part of the Global Container Production team within CIB IT PRODUCTION.

This role involves managing the Kubernetes / Openshift infrastructure for all countries where BNP Paribas operates. The infrastructure provides services on high availability environments to ensure the delivery of container services for BNP Paribas.

As there is a large number of assets to oversee, automating the BAU tasks is crucial.

Vulnerability and obsolescence remediation, proactive improvements, and defining action plans for incidents are part of the daily responsibilities of this role.

Working following ITIL methodology is a fundamental aspect of the daily operations in this and other IT areas.

Your responsibilities

  • Maintain & develop solutions for monitoring, automation, and reporting
  • Conduct technical reviews and stay updated on new features
  • Propose and implement new innovative infrastructure
  • Contribute to functional and technical documentation
  • Utilize ServiceNow ticketing tool (requests, changes, incidents, problems)
  • Engage with vendors (opening cases, conducting technical reviews, participating in forums, etc.)
  • Collaborate closely with customers to support them in cloud application transformation
  • Develop new automations

Our requirements

  • Significant experience in Kubernetes and Openshift management
  • Expertise in high availability environments
  • Strong skills in Linux and Networking (advanced user skills - no admin skills required) and basic understanding of Windows OS
  • Strong global Infrastructure knowledge (Clustering, Storage, Network, OS, and others)
  • Storage skills (NAS/ SAN / FC)
  • Ansible and scripting skills for creating new automations
  • Knowledge of server hardware and interest in performance optimization
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to work autonomously and in a team environment
  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken
