We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced and passionate Data Engineer to join our growing technology team within the WPP division, focusing on building technology products for some of the world's leading media agencies.

The successful candidate will work alongside developers and other members of the scrum teams of the WPP division.

Requirements:

  • Python: Ability to implement and/or automate tests
  • SQL: Strong ability to query databases and validate data integrit
  • Knowledge of data engineering/orchestration concepts
  • Experience working with ETL and data pipelines
  • Experience working with Cloud data warehouses like Snowflake or Google Big Query
  • Basic knowledge of Apache Airflow resp. Google Cloud Composer
  • Experience working with Data Quality Check tools such as dbttest, Soda, Google Dataplex or similar
  • Strong analytical skills to define and implement test scenarios, identify and analyze data quality issues

Job Responsibilities:

  • Developing automation tests
  • Reporting and executing some of the tests manually
  • Debugging issues and creating bug reports
  • Work closely with a team (Germany, US)
