For one of our Client - Bank -we are currently looking for Candidates for the role of:

Position: ESG Risk Expert
Location: Warsaw
The hybrid form of work: 3 days work from the Office & 2 days work remotely / per week

ROLE:
Performing large-scale data management, environmental performance data analysis (energy, water, greenhouse gas emissions, waste), and support with various sustainability reports. Stress testing skills are highly desired in this role..

  • Preparing analyzes of the impact of ESG risk on the Bank's portfolio
  • Coordinating stress tests for ESG risks
  • Identification of ESG risk in financial and non-financial risks
  • Monitoring the regulatory environment and identifying the need for changes
  • Support in creating an ESG risk management policy and adapting existing risk management policies
  • Supporting the process of assessing the materiality of ESG risks for selected economic sectors
  • Analyze of ESG regulations / guidelines
  • Development of ESG Risk management policy / adjustments of risk management policies
  • Assessment of ESG risk for sector of economy (sectorial policies)
  • Identification of ESG risk in financial and non – financial risks (transition and physical risk)
  • Support the bond issuance programs (green bonds framework)

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Higher education - preferred fields: finance, banking, economics
  • Expected professional experience in areas related to risk management
  • Broad understanding of ESG issues and knowledge of key regulations (Taxonomy)
  • Ability to conduct analyzes and independently propose solutions
  • Ability to work with large amounts of diverse information, including numerical data
  • Ability to perform effective project work and cooperate with many internal partners
  • Very good knowledge of English in speech and writing (including B2) – a must-have
