Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage IT projects from initiation to closure, adhering to project management methodologies and best practices
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, deliverables, and timelines, ensuring alignment with business goals and priorities
  • Develop comprehensive project plans, including schedules, resource allocation, budgets, risk management, and communication strategies
  • Coordinate and facilitate project meetings, status updates, and milestone reviews with internal teams and external partners
  • Monitor project progress, identify potential risks and issues, and proactively implement mitigation strategies to ensure timely delivery and project success
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels, including executives, to provide project updates, address concerns, and manage expectations
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations, quality standards, and cybersecurity requirements throughout the project lifecycle
  • Conduct post-project evaluations to assess outcomes, identify lessons learned, and recommend process improvements for future projects.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field. Master's degree or relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, Prince2) is a plus
  • Proven experience (5 years) as an IT Project Manager in the automotive industry, with a strong understanding of automotive technologies, systems, and processes
  • Fluent in German and English
  • Expertise in project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall) and tools (e.g., JIRA, Microsoft Project)
  • Ability to lead cross-functional teams
  • Knowledge of IT infrastructure, software development lifecycle, and emerging technologies in the automotive sector
  • Familiarity with regulatory compliance, data privacy, and security standards (e.g., GDPR, ISO 27001)
  • Flexibility to travel
