For Abbott's Structural Heart (SH) Division, we are seeking a seasoned TAVI Sales and Therapy Specialist to join our exceptional team in Poland.
This position will involve field work, with a preferred location in Warsaw.
The primary objectives of this role include:
- Responsibility for treatment development, training, and offering clinical support for TAVI cases at both existing and new Accounts in the area.
- Coordinating TAVI promotion to ensure adequate stock levels and alignment on market activities within the assigned territory. The role also involves initiating new accounts, expanding utilization in existing ones, and achieving financial objectives related to therapies.
Key responsibilities include:
Proctoring
- Attaining proctor certification as per the SH training protocol.
- Providing technical assistance to clinicians during TAVI procedures.
- Demonstrating procedural steps to all physicians and staff involved at sites.
- Implementing on-site training programs for physicians and staff.
Site Management
- Collaborating with centers to ensure positive clinical outcomes for patients.
- Facilitating communication between various stakeholders for effective patient flow, procedure scheduling, and successful outcomes.
- Managing logistics between the site and SH regarding procedural support.
- Regular product handling and inventory management.
Others
- Meeting financial objectives in the region.
- Establishing relationships with key opinion leaders.
- Ensuring compliance in all activities and ensuring timely document submission.
- Regularly communicating and sharing information with the SH management team responsible for the region.
- Providing regular reports to the Sales Supervisor on activities at referral and new accounts.
Background, Skills, and Requirements
- University degree in Life Sciences or a related medical field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Medical Clinical Support/Sales.
- Background in invasive cardiology or cardiac surgery is highly preferred.
- Experience in Hospital Account management.
- Excellent sales skills.
- Solid clinical knowledge and understanding of cardiology medical devices and market access challenges.
- Familiarity with various cardiology treatments to comprehend patient flow within hospitals.
- Strong relationship-building skills and network creation within a multi-specialty cardiology team.
- Ability to collaborate with clinicians of varying personalities.
- Strong analytical capabilities to navigate a cardiology hospital environment.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills to foster relationships with customers and colleagues.
- Understanding of organizational processes, procedures, and compliance in a corporate setting.
- Capability to manage projects and drive alignment towards common goals.
- Willingness to travel extensively.
- Proficiency in both English and Polish, written and spoken.
