About this role:

The Medical Affairs Projects Junior Manager is part of the Polish Medical Team and will collaborate with the entire Medical Team (Therapeutic Area Leads, Medical Managers, MLMs, Projects Coordinators) to support them in leading and managing medical projects in Poland. The role involves partnering with Medical Leads and other functions (Compliance, Legal, Finance, Commercial, etc.) to drive high-value Medical activities with a focus on execution excellence (processes, compliance/governance, communications).

What you will do:

  • External Engagements
  • Work closely and independently with internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth medical strategy execution in terms of external engagements following internal policies
  • Leading and managing cross-border engagements with stakeholders at global, regional, and local levels
  • Manage medical budget for projects, including contracts and payments
  • Materials and content development
  • Develop and review medical materials for advisory boards and other events/projects initiated by the Medical Team, ensuring timely, accurate, and compliant processes
  • Lead medical projects including scientific engagements, medical education, and sponsorships management
  • Drive operational efficiencies, share best practices, and optimize the organizational structure
  • Guide others in resolving operational problems and act as a resource for the team
  • Coordinate and manage external agencies and vendors

Qualifications

Required Skills:

  • Science degree
  • Proven track record in project/program management
  • Min. 1 year of experience in Medical Affairs in the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry, including international/regional level experience
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and exercise good judgment
  • Experience in working collaboratively in a matrix environment
  • Ability to communicate scientific concepts effectively
  • Ability to adapt to a changing environment
  • Excellent social competencies and efficiency in a matrixed organization
  • Fluency in English
