FP&A Business Analyst – Capex in the Central Team

Location: Warsaw

Hybrid Model: 3 days per week from office

What you'll do

As a Capex Business Analyst in the Central Team, you'll provide support to the Financial Planning & Reporting Group, offering analysis and reporting for Budget/ Rolling Business Updates and Mid & Long Term Planning (MTP). You will also take part in various initiatives within the Team and across the Global Finance Services. We are seeking an individual eager to expand their financial expertise within a seasoned GFS Team of a leading global organization.

Key responsibilities:

  • Close collaboration with Finance Business Partners across different global locations
  • Coordination and analysis of data from various sources
  • Providing adhoc information to aid business decisions
  • Month-end closing activities: Maintaining data flow between financial systems, ensuring integrity, preparing accruals, GL review, reconciliations, internal charges, monthly reports and commentaries for Senior Leadership reviews, conducting monthly BS review, executing financial controls
  • Active involvement in forecasting and budgeting cycles (RBU, MTP, ABU, PB): communicating with Business for forecast data collection, preparing preliminary results and revisions, loading and reconciling forecast data in the global planning system, creating reporting packs for further analysis, performing adhoc analysis and report preparation
  • Monitoring of SOX/Financial Controls
  • Masterdata/Hierarchy/Mapping/System integrity maintenance
  • Driving simplification of finance processes and promoting a culture of best practice sharing

Essential requirements for the role:

  • Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in finance/data analysis
  • Ability to collaborate effectively in diverse global teams
  • Proficient in written and spoken English
  • Strong PC skills (advanced Excel; SAP, Hyperion, Blackline, COUPA, VBA is a plus)
  • Understanding of capex processes and related issues (an advantage)
