Established in 2012, we are at the forefront of utilizing Machine Learning and Advanced Statistical algorithms to assess the quality of clinical trial data for effective risk planning and operational monitoring, causing a stir in the Pharmaceutical industry worldwide. As part of our continuous growth, product enhancement, and market expansion, we are on the lookout for talented Lead Engineers to join our lively team and engage in our scaling journey.

What You Will Be Doing

Important to Note

Joining us means starting as a senior engineer within an existing squad to get acquainted with our tech stack and engineering environment. Once you are ready, you will step up to lead a squad, collaborating with a product owner. Your role will involve managing the squad and ensuring efficient feature delivery.

  • Lead a development squad comprising Front-end, Back-end, and Testing engineers (around 8 team members) in coordination with the Product Owner
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time and with high quality by organizing and prioritizing tasks
  • Address technical challenges, bottlenecks, and issues as they arise
  • Conduct code reviews and offer technical guidance to team members
  • Steer the technical direction and architecture of projects
  • Tackle intricate performance issues and architectural obstacles
  • Provide mentorship to squad members
  • Collaborate with product and design teams to interpret end-user needs, define use cases, and implement effective technical solutions
  • Enhance test coverage through unit and integration testing
  • Stay updated on the latest tech trends and industry best practices

What You Need for this Position

  • Hands-on experience in OOP Back-End (Python) for over 7 years
  • Proven track record (2+ years) as a lead engineer or tech lead
  • A solid background in interfacing with databases (SQL and/or NoSQL), web frameworks (Pyramid or similar), and adherence to best practices (testing, design patterns, etc)
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Effective communication and collaboration abilities
  • Capability to mentor and develop team members successfully
  • Familiarity with agile methodologies and principles
  • Passion for exploring new technologies, understanding API structures, and REST architecture
  • Master's degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science/Engineering

Nice to Have (Advantageous)

  • Knowledge of container orchestration and/or microservice architecture
  • Experience with SaaS/Cloud-based solutions, software networking (e.g., ZeroMQ, RabbitMQ, Websockets), and continuous integration
  • Proficiency in data visualizations
  • Desire for continuous improvement and learning to drive personal and team growth
