We are now looking for a talented, motivated and experienced Manager to lead the Parts Procurement team in Poland.
Your responsibility will be leading the team in Poland managing the supply of spare parts and components for Pulp & Paper and Board technologies related equipment. You will be responsible for supporting and developing the daily operational processes and tools. Your will be building and maintaining cooperation with our supplier network to improve the overall quality of parts and deliveries and increase the cost competitiveness of Valmet Spare Parts.

In your role, you will cooperate closely with Valmet Services Category management to ensure alignment with Valmet procurement processes and policies. Good leadership, cooperation and people skills play a big role in succeeding in this position. You will report to head of EMEA Supply Chain, Parts Procurement and be a member of the Parts Procurement management team.

You will be located in Jelenia Gora, Poland where the team members are also based.

Other responsibilities include:

Lead, develop and direct team in charge towards high performance and world class supply chain Strategic supplier relationships management and sourcing. Manage preferred supplier portfolio with focus on Supplier Consolidation and Supplier Quality. Identify, evaluate, and alert internal stakeholders and own team about supply risk. Propose and execute action plans to mitigate. Actively pursue cost savings opportunities and sustainability programs. Monitor and collect data on current operations, supply chain performance and report to management. Plan, organize and direct Design to Cost and Cost Competitive Country sourcing initiatives Assist team in daily operations managed in ERP and surrounding systems. Support data analysis needed for strategic supplier analysis, supplier quality initiatives, budget development and other compliance requirements. Cascade Valmet's target policy deployment and transform these into team MustWins Identify efficiency issues, develop solutions and drive continuous improvement changes Design and deploy robust roadmaps to achieve key targets (quality, cost, time)

To succeed in this role, you will need:

Master's or Bachelor's degree. Preferred fields of study: Supply chain management, logistics or business administration Five or more years' experience in a supply management role or related position. Excellent leadership capabilities and interpersonal skills Strong influencing and negotiations skills with demonstrated ability to achieve results in a global matrix organization Excellent analytical skills and ability to run with swift and fact-based decisions Experience from contract development and supplier relationship management Ability to work and perform well under pressure with tight deadlines Fluent verbal and written Polish? and English language skills. Other languages are an asset IT skills: MS Office & Outlook, Infor LN and Microsoft PowerBI are an advantage Readiness to travel Driving license. B
