Your Future Role Explained...

In this position as Senior Accounting Manager for EMEA Studios, you will be part of our dedicated team in Warsaw, Poland. You'll play a crucial role in ensuring accurate financial reporting, managing audits, and collaborating with various stakeholders to support our global financial processes. Your expertise in IFRS and/or US GAAP will be essential in making informed decisions on complex transactions, while also overseeing a small team and reporting to the Senior Accounting Director.

Key Responsibilities You'll Own...

  • Manage accounting tasks applying IFRS/US GAAP along with local GAAP expertise
  • Provide guidance on financial transactions and technical accounting research
  • Lead and develop a team of Senior Accountants
  • Enhance accounting processes and workflows through automation
  • Oversee internal and external audit work
  • Prepare management reports, reconciliations, and ad hoc analyses
  • Lead department meetings and propose solutions

Qualifications & Experience We're Looking For...

  • Master's degree in accounting or finance with 8+ years of international experience
  • Knowledge of IFRS and/or US GAAP
  • Experience with media/entertainment industry is a plus
  • Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel
  • ACCA, CIMA or PIBR qualification is advantageous
