The number of our Pega Cloud SaaS and PaaS customers is rapidly growing. We are looking for individuals who will help us to drive this growth by building highly scalable cutting-edge Cloud Services. As part of this team, you will be working to connect all the pieces of our software into a shippable product. What You'll Do at Pega:


• Create and execute software release plans, ensuring alignment with business objectives.

• Coordinate with multiple departments to ensure software compatibility and alignment.

• Track project milestones and deliverables, keeping stakeholders informed.

• Identify and manage risks related to software releases.

• Collaborate with development teams to enhance build and release processes.

• Set up and enforce standards, conventions, and procedures for release engineering activities.

• Provision environments using multi-cloud providers (AWS & GCP).

Who You Are:

You are an effective communicator and collaborator. Also, you demonstrate initiative and autonomy at work. On top of that:

• You understand DevOps culture well, and you consider yourself to be a technically versatile person.

• You bring good practices around design patterns with you, which you can leverage to support our Pega Cloud with our "as-a-Service" evolution.

• You are passionate about cloud technologies and well versed with AWS core concepts and services.

• You have knowledge with infrastructure-as-code delivery model.

• You can effectively work with release engineers to comprehend code merges and branch ramifications.

• You have experience with agile methodologies.

• You have strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• You have excellent communication and teamwork skills.

What You've Accomplished:

It will be great, but not required if you have:


• Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science and 6 to 10 years of relevant experience

• Proven experience as a Release Engineer, Release Manager, or a similar role in software development

• Strong knowledge of systems design and microservices release patterns

• Strong grasp of the Software Delivery Lifecycle (SDLC)

• Having hands on DevOps, continuous integration and development (CI/CD) tools & Jenkins

• Managing the development of deliverables into production environments

• Maintaining release schedules for every core service and ensuring it aligns with major, minor, patches and other stakeholders.

• Strong knowledge of Python, Golang, or Java

• Very good understanding and experience in Cloud technologies, ideally with multi-cloud perspective (should present knowledge level of AWS Associate Architect or equivalent for Google or Azure)

• Very good knowledge of Infrastructure as a Code (Helm/Terraform/Cloudformation)

• Very good knowledge and experience in Docker and Kubernetes (having CKAD certification is a plus)

• Excellent project and stakeholder management skills
