Plan release windows and cycles, and manage risks that could impact scope, schedule, or quality. Ensure all interested parties have visibility of future release plans.

Communication: Effectively communicate release plans, commitments, and changes to a diverse range of stakeholders. Coordinate release content based on backlogs, third-party applications, and operating system updates.

Release Readiness: Contribute to Release Readiness reviews, Milestone Reviews, and Business Go/No-Go reviews. Support Deployment, Run Books, and Implementation Plans.

Technical Release Management: Host and oversee release calls, coordinating DevOps resource and QA activities to ensure seamless deployments that are tested to a high standard.

Reporting: Produce weekly release reports to track progress and ensure timely delivery. Maintain a repository of release artifacts, including build and release procedures, dependencies, and notification lists.

Release Preparation: Prepare high quality release notes, working with the delivery teams to present the technical content in a format suitable for compliance and regulators.

Compliance: Work with the compliance team to ensure that release management processes and implementation align with regulatory requirements.

Technical Change Management: Organize and lead technical change reviews to ensure proper impact assessment without excessive ITIL structure.

Incident Management: Support the Operational Incident Management teams in managing production incidents, owning resolutions for any post-release issues

What You Will Need:

Experience: 3-5 years in release management, preferably in an agile software product development environment

Coaching Skills: Ability to act as a "Release Coach," working with agile teams and "Release Captains" to improve processes and drive ownership
