About Our Client

Our Client is a global company specializing in the creation of transport packaging solutions.

Job Description

  • Collaboration with the R2R Manager on resolution of complex issues within R2R area.
  • Collaboration with R2R Team Leaders.
  • Leading, overseeing and handling complex accounting activities and cases within the R2R area.
  • Providing expertise and support on technical accounting matters related to R2R processes
  • Collaboration with cross-functional teams to address accounting challenges specific to R2R.
  • Collaboration with internal stakeholders to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and accounting standards specific to R2R.
  • Acting as operations team member based on the demand and availability, actively participating in the execution of tasks within the R2R process
  • Supporting month-end and year-end closing processes.
  • Preparing and review financial statements, reports, and reconciliations related to R2R activities.
  • Working with auditors from various countries and support team members in preparation of the data requested by auditors.
  • Providing support, guidance, and training to accounting staff within the R2R area as necessary.
  • Making sure proper operational controls are in place to ensure proper compliance.
  • Collaboration with IT teams.

The Successful Applicant

  • Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economy or related field
  • 8+ years of experience in accounting roles, with a focus on handling complex accounting matters within the R2R workstream of a finance shared service centre
  • In-depth knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and regulations relevant to R2R processes
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems used in R2R processes
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment within the R2R area.
